What's this about?
Delineate is my space to serve up a picture a day. And by "a day", I mean whenever I am inclined to, and have the time.
Why's it "delineate"?
Why not? It's a pleasant enough word, with an apt enough meaning.
delineate (tr.v.) (di-'li-nE-"At):
To describe, portray, or set forth with accuracy or in detail.
It's my portrayal of how I perceive reality.
Who's responsible for it?
That would be me, a male, twenty-few year old engineery-sciency geek residing in Ann Arbor, with way too much time on his hands.
How do I get in touch?
It would be absolutely smashing if you could e-mail me at this address. Feel free to send me comments, questions, criticism, love, etc.
Hmm, eye@delineate? Is that eye as in "I" or eye as in "the eye" or the camera's?
Ka-ching, we have a winner! It's both, and here's a prize for our astute audience member.
Yay, I won something. I like this place, how did you make it?
The new-agey term for this sort of site is apparently "photolog". I am using WordPress to drive it. The design was dreamed up in my head with a lot of inspiration from places of this nature. It was initially drawn out in the GIMP, and coded up to appear as close as possible using GNU Emacs.
I have answered this question in far greater detail here.
I was sort of referring to the equipment you used to take these pictures?
Oh. I mostly use my trusty old Olympus Camedia C-5050 zoom camera.
You're awesome, but why don't you take pictures of people?
You're gorgeous. Why don't you try your hand at modelling?
I would love to. I'll get in touch. You'd like, pay me right?
Erm, not really.
Oh, hmm..
Does taking you out for a cup of coffee count?
